TRY is a volunteer run community group that has as goal to achieve 100% renewable energy and to reduce energy usage drastically in Yackandandah by 2022. In 2017 they set up a minigrid and set up a Community Energy Retailer (CER), called Indigo Power, was set up to trade the generated energy. The Yackandandah microgrid is the first commercially run community microgrid in Australia.
